Vocabulary: cell cycle, interphase, mitosis, cytokinesis
Review:
1. interphase and cell division
2. two complete sets of DNA, twice the size of when it was first formed
3. They are identical.
4. Chromosomes form (prophase), chromosomes line up (metaphase), chromosomes separate (anaphase), nuclei form (telophase).
5. In both plant and animal cells, cytokinesis is the division of the cytoplasm. In plant cells a cell plate forms and becomes a new cell wall and cell membrane. In animal cells, the cell membrane pulls inward and pinches into two new cells.
6. Yes, because cytokinesis is the division of the cytoplasm, and prokaryotes have cytoplasm to divide.
Miss thanks for IPMAT to remember the stages of the cell cycle Interphase,Prophase,Metaphase,Anaphase and Telophase.

ResponderEliminarI learnt how to l don't forget the stages
IPMAT that stands for the first word of each stage. And this power point presentation show me better the steps than in the book.
Thanx ms, now i now how the cells divide and the names when they divide that is Interphase, Prephase, Metaphate, Anaphase and Telophase (IPMAT).
ResponderEliminarValeria Marrosu 7a #18
thankyou miss!!!with this interactive and creative way of learning the mitosis stages i can relate the inicials to remember all the concepts (IPMAT)
ResponderEliminar.Interphase
.prophase
.metaphase
.anaphase
.telephase

Ms.Silvia thanks you for the video and the presentation.
ResponderEliminarWith the video I can see it move good and understand it better.
Now I have clear, that the only difference between plant cells to mitosis is during telophase, the cell wall forms between the two daughter cells.
Arylu Cantu Treviño 7°B #7
I learned that the only difference between mitosis in plant cells is that a cell wall forms between the new offpring. IPMAT is an easy way to learn the stages of mitosis.
ResponderEliminarJavier De la Garza 12 7D
with this video i remembered the stages of mitosis
ResponderEliminarinterphase
prophase
metaphase
anaphase
telephase
thank you(:

ResponderEliminarMiss Silvia,
ResponderEliminarI learned the simplest form to learn all the stages(IPMAT)and also Cytokinesis. And also I learned that the difference of plants cells when they divide is in telephase: a cell wall forms between the two daughter cells.

tanks miss silvia now I have clear the stages of mitosis
ResponderEliminarmariely garza 7ºB #10
Miss one of the things i learned is the way of learning the stages:ipmat....
ResponderEliminarAlso is col to know how the chromosomes duplicate,
It is a very good presentation.
Erica Gzz #13 .7A
miss i learned that prophase is divided in two stages:early prophase and late prophase
ResponderEliminaralan venegas #29 7E
Miss now I got an easy way to remember each step of mitosis, IPMAT.
ResponderEliminarINTERPHASE
PROPHASE
METAPHASE
ANAPHASE
TELOPHASE
Cytokinesis is when the parent cell's cytoplasm is divided.
Oscar Cavazos 7C #3
Miss Now i will now with an easier way tha procces of mitosis!
ResponderEliminarINTERPHASE
PROPHASE
METAPHASE
ANAPHASE
TELOPHASE
THANYOU(:

ResponderEliminarMiss, I learned that the little things that look like cans are called centrioles & that an easier way to learn the stages of mitosis is IPMAT (interphase, prophase, metaphase, anaphase, telophase).
ResponderEliminarSusana de la Garza 7D #11
Thanks for the presentation miss!!!
ResponderEliminarI learned that now I can remember the stages if mitosis with the acronym "IPMAT", which means:
Interphase
Prophase
Metaphase
Anaphase
&
Telophase
Thanks again!
Ana S. Valadez L#29 7D
Ms, thanks for the presentation. I didnt know what were the centrioles, until I watch this.
ResponderEliminarEnrique Navarro S #17 7C
miss this video helped me to understant the stages of mitosis like metaphase middle and anaphase away and all that
ResponderEliminarmiguel ortiz #20 7D
With this PP presentation I learned that the cell division in plant cells differ from cell division in animal cells and the "word" IPMAT, THAT i´m sure would help me in the quiz.
ResponderEliminarThank you.
Adrian Cantú 7A N.L.4
this presentation help me to remind the stages of the cell cycle with the ipmat
ResponderEliminarMiss Silvia
ResponderEliminarWith the you tube video understand more all the cell division process, but I only will like to know why the cell membrane disapears and with the other one I leran the good idea of how to learn the stages of the cell division.
